On Saturday April 1st, Thornwell Books is proud to present Murderoy Hackett in concert from 6pm to 8pm. Never heard of them? "Imagine if Dashiell Hammett, Larry McMurtry and John le Carre coauthored a novel adapted for the screen by Sergio Leone. What would the score sound like? Murderoy Hackette, of course. These homegrown musical magpies draw inspiration from the British Invasion, California surf, Spaghetti Westerns and classic country to create a unique blend of original and covered melodies from where the surf meets the turf." Join us for a fun evening. Thornwell Books offers a selection of wines and beers in addition to our coffee, tea and bakery selections. Feel free to bring your own food if you want something more filling.
